Living and Dying

Matthew 16:25 “For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.”

Philippians 1:21: “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.”

Matthew 16:24: “Then Jesus said to his disciples,”Whoever wants to be my disciple must deny themselves and take up their cross and follow me.”

I leave in just two days to embark on the journey of a lifetime. No doubt it will be very hard and challenging at times but there is also no doubt that it will be very rewarding as well. My goal is to live and die at the same time.

• To die to my flesh and serve those around me to the fullest but to live in amazing community and solid, transparent communication too.

• To die to my desired comforts and put myself in a place where I have no other choice but to trust Papa God. Yet, living in new experiences and learning from those around me and the culture I am immersed in. 

• To die to my definition of love and love the way Christ does, with no string attached, and unconditionally. Although, knowing that loving like that is truly life itself because we are learning how to be just like Jesus.

• To die to the idea of “quitting” at any moment because Christ never quite on me and to live knowing that anything I need comes from the Father of lights! 

People keep asking me if I’m ready. I am and there is only one way to know for sure as well.

Things to Know:

(I LEAVE THIS SATURDAY FOR MORE TRAINING IN GA & THEN OFF TO 1st COUNTRY ON JANUARY 10TH)

1. I will try and communicate through blogging/vlogs and statues as much as possible.
2. I will not post in much detail and ask that y’all don’t post much details about me too. (Safety reasons)
3. You will have to read between the lines at times but I will try my best to make you understand. :)
4. I GREATLY appreciate your prayers and support and could NOT have done any of this and still could not do any of this without ya’ll!
5. I have about $4,000.00 more to raise before March/April and I know God will provide. If you feel led to give, you can do so on this link.
6. I will not be bringing my phone for multiple reasons, so it will not pay to text or call me.
7. I will be back the end of November 2016 (I don’t know exact dates yet).

Worries or Concerns

1. I will eat and not starve.
2. do have a solid leadership team and have learned a lot through different training.
3. No you can not ship anything to me but I appreciate the thought.
4. For those of you who don’t know I have a squad (including leaders) of 30-40 people & we do have stick with your buddy safety. 

OVERALL 

I AM SO PUMPED! GOD IS GOING TO DO AMAZING THINGS IN AND THROUGH OUR SQUAD AND WE.ARE.READY!
