I am a firm believer that God created each and every one of us. I believe that God gives us all free will and we all have the opportunity to learn from our past and/or mistakes. The moments we have experienced throughout our lives, made us who we are today!
But I’ve always been compelled by the question, if we knew then what we know now, what would we say if we saw that young boy or girl? How would we encourage our younger selves?
Baby girl, laugh, cry, sing, and all the in between, but never hide. You are too loved to hide.
It’s all gonna work out because God, your Father, really loves you. He’s going to send Jesus right to your FACE!
Surround yourself with positive people, as they will bring out the best in you.
I would tell my younger self that she should just try things and not keep telling herself that she cannot do it. Because she could have! And that she should be proud of who she is and not be ashamed of her family or her friends or anything. You do you, girl!
Be sober minded and lean not on your own understanding.
You are beautiful, you are loved, you are enough just the way you are.
Write down the things your parents, especially your grandparents, teach you. They have lived nearly complete lives and are passing on wisdom to save you the trouble! Accept it, and start growing further at a younger age.
Don’t worry — you don’t have to have everything figured out.

I don’t know if I would tell myself anything. I am who I am because of decisions I made it, The consequences of those actions led me to Christ, they made me strong.
Actively pursue Jesus, and that girl Lauren that lives up the street, yep shes the one!!! and the First Friday after you turn 21 buy a lottery ticket with 1-3-21-29-37-42 hahaha, work ain’t nobody got time for that!!!
Don’t let that boy influence you into feeling worthless and don’t fall into the peer pressure of porn/ weed/ smoking.
Don’t be ashamed of who you are.
I would teach my younger self all about finances. Growing up, I never realized how important it is to have your finances in order. I would teach my younger self about the stock market, how to save and invest, how to be frugal, and how to sow good financial seed into the things of God to see His purposes and plans move forward in the Earth.
Enjoy your personality and don’t change yourself to fit in. Keep building people up and don’t worry about the future. Be present!
